How To Setup A Computer File Box
This is an overview of how to setup a computer file box. It's a breeze to do with the following "how to" steps.
Your computer system and network equipment paperwork, discs, manuals, files, and etc., should all be kept in one place in your house or business. The following is a very good way of keeping your computer files. The total purchase cost including sales tax for this project is $69.72.

#2) File Jacket 1.5"
These File Jackets will hold all of the paperwork, discs, manuals, etc. to each piece of equipment that you own without things falling out. Use only one File Jacket per piece of equipment. Label the headings this way:

#3) Sharpie Markers
Use these to write the heading on the top left of the File Jacket with. Keep at least one Sharpie Marker inside the File Box.

#4) Ink Pens
Use these to write on the front of the File Jacket. Example: Write down the name brand, model number, serial number, and date of purchase, of the equipment. Also, use to write with on the inside of your Password Notebook (see #6). Keep at least one Ink Pen inside the File Box.

#5) Clear Plastic Bag
These are to keep small pieces, DVDs and etc. all together. Put this bag inside of the File Jacket of the piece of equipment that it goes with.

#6) Password Notebook
This is the most important piece of the bunch. Use this to keep all of your Passwords in. Each page is for a different Password. Here's how to do this:
On one page, list the following:
Web Site Name
Username
Password
Notes
Example:
amazon.com
marysmith@yahoo.com
maRy2416
account opened 01-01-2015
Be sure to UNDERLINE the Password capitol letters!! Example: maRy2416
You will also have room on the page to keep notes about the web site.
Keep your Password Notebook inside of a File Jacket, inside the File Box.
That way, it will never get lost.
